A murloc tomato.

If you've suddenly found yourself here, you may be asking yourself: "Self, what the heck is a murloc tomato?"

Now everyone knows what a tomato is, but unless you've spent some time on Azeroth, a murloc (and Azeroth for that matter) is probably a pretty foreign concept. To clear things up, this is a murloc:
This is a thing. Seriously. If you see one in real life, you're probably on drugs...or play too much Warcraft.

So now that you're acquainted, I'll tell you what the red confused fruit-veggie and the scaly video game sea monster have to do with this blog: absolutely nothing.

You see I had this other blog and because of its name I got all tied into what it should be about. Hard not to do when you call yourself "Because I Like Movies." You feel like you must like movies. Then, one day, I didn't really feel like reviewing every movie I watched. I also started watching far fewer movies. That isn't to say I don't like writing to occasional review, but to feel like that's all you can do with your blog space? Inconceivable! (Yes, yes. I know. That word does not mean what I think it means.)

I tried sneaking in other types of stuff on that other blog, but it never felt right...like I was cheating on the concept. The blog felt like it was...disappointed in me. So, I stayed away. And away. Until today when I realized I hadn't posted in over nine months and while I actually did want to write, I felt like that place wasn't me anymore. Murloc Tomatoes was born.

The point of the name Murloc Tomatoes is everything and nothing at all. It's non-sensical and, I think,  a bit intriguing. Most importantly, I can do whatever I want.

So I raise a toast to my first post and say, "Aaaaaughibbrgubugbugrguburgle!" Or...welcome (for those who don't speak murloc).
